Browsing and saved homes
You can browse without enabling activity insights. Saved homes stay in this browser’s local storage when you choose the heart button; they are not an account or a shared buyer profile. Your privacy preference is also stored locally. Clear browser storage to remove these, or change the activity choice using “Privacy choices” in the footer.
Optional listing activity
If you choose “Allow insights”, we record the listing visited, photo opens, save actions, links to agent particulars and sampled time while the page is visible. A random browser-session identifier resets each day. These records do not include your name, email, search text or precise location. They are pseudonymous, not a guarantee of complete anonymity. We do not fingerprint you or link activity across websites.
The listing agency sees aggregate results for its own listings. KnokKnok has the same view for its own homes. Activity is not proof of buying intention, budget, wealth or identity. Raw events expire from reporting after 90 days and are removed during dashboard processing. Choosing “No thanks” stops new events and removes the local session identifier; previously aggregated results are not unwound.
When you enquire
Your name, email, phone and message are required so the agency can respond. You explicitly choose to share these with the named listing agency. We store them in its private portal inbox to facilitate your request. That agency handles its reply under its own privacy notice. Email alerts are not currently enabled. We do not add you to marketing lists or redirect another agency’s enquiry to KnokKnok.
We process enquiries to take steps you request before a possible service, and retain them while needed to handle the enquiry and relevant record-keeping. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask about retention. Agencies should close completed enquiries and avoid storing unnecessary personal details in notes.
Accounts and AI summaries
Agent sign-in uses ChatGPT account identity. We receive an account identifier and email to manage the application and authorised workspace. Business verification is separate. Hosting and database services support operation of the portal.
AI summaries use OpenAI’s API. Only aggregate activity and property labels are submitted; enquiry messages, names, emails and phone numbers are excluded. We request that responses are not stored as conversation history. Provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. AI may be wrong and does not replace professional judgment. Listings, rights and coverage
Free listings are available to approved London agencies. The launch collection starts with KnokKnok’s own instructions. Other agents must confirm they represent the homes and have permission for all supplied content and images. We do not offer an unauthorised copy of another portal’s database. Partner imports must link to the verified agency’s own website. Listings without a refresh for 30 days pause automatically.
Prices are guide prices unless stated otherwise. Source retrieval dates are not independent property verification. Confirm availability, tenure, lease details, service charges, dimensions and all material information with the agent before acting. The portal is not a valuation, legal, tax or mortgage adviser.
Your rights and contact
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction where applicable, and object to processing or withdraw optional activity consent. Contact us using the email above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
